When support adds value
When capacity or quality is under pressure, a portfolio or process issue needs attention, an implementation or migration is underway, the delegated-authority setup is changing, temporary senior underwriting capacity is required, or teams and stakeholders need to align quickly around an executable approach.
Where I contribute
My expertise includes support within the client organization across MGA and Delegated Authority, underwriting, insurance operations, portfolio and process work, and product and quality matters. Where relevant, analysis of coverage and policy wording is performed in the context of product development, underwriting and acceptance policy, and quality improvement within the insurance value chain. Depending on the assignment, I work as a consultant, operational specialist or interim manager within the client organization.
How I work
I work analytically and pragmatically: first define the real problem, then structure the information, responsibilities and dependencies, and finally work toward a solution that remains useful in day-to-day operations. That may mean contributing hands-on, leading a team, connecting stakeholders or structuring an improvement or implementation programme.
Organizations I work with
The focus is on insurers, MGAs and delegated-authority businesses, insurance intermediaries and other professional organizations in the insurance value chain. Assignments can be freelance, interim or project-based, on-site in South Netherlands, hybrid across the Netherlands or remote for international organizations.
